Sensenig, Arlan H. (6 October 1982 – 21 January 2022)

Arlan H. Sensenig, age 39 years, 3 months and 15 days, of Withee, passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis, MO.

Arlan was born on October 6, 1982, in Clark County, to Melvin S. and Alma H. (Hoover) Sensenig. He attended school until eighth grade. Arlan was united in marriage to Margaret B. Burkholder on September 1, 2007, in the Town of Hoard. He owned and operated Black River Spray Foam LLC. He is remembered as a loving husband and father and was a good friend to many. Arlan also greatly enjoyed spending time in the joys of the outdoors.

Arlan is survived by his wife: Margaret; children: Adella Marian, Larren Melvin, Arlan Latrell, Angella Margaret, Logan Darrell and Ashley Mabel, father: Melvin S. Sensenig, brothers: Leroy of Lancaster, PA, Landis (Rhoda), Elam Ray (Esther Mae) and Vernon, sisters: Darlene (Leon) Eberly, and Louella Sensenig, all of Clark County.

He is preceded in death by a stillborn brother: Darrell, mother: Alma H. Sensenig, grandparents: Elam and Alta Sensenig and Frank and Rebecca Hoover.

Services will be at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Clark View Mennonite Church in the Town of Longwood. His final resting place will be at the church cemetery. Elvin Hoover, Kevin Martin, Randall Martin, Paul Wesley Oberholtzer, and Jerry Brubaker will officiate. Pallbearers will be, Leroy Sensenig, Landis Sensenig, Elam Ray Sensenig, Stephen Burkholder, Leonard Burkholder and Larry Burkholder. Visitation will be on Friday, January 28, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the CAM Center (corner of Pine and Gorman Ave Thorp). The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home of Owen is assisting the family with arrangements.
