Knoop, Dawn Marie (2 July 1983)

The Rev. Raymond H. Bornbach officiated at the July 2 nuptials for Miss Dawn Marie Knoop, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Knoop, Route 3, Neillsville, and Ronald Paul Bohman, 10680 County Trunk Y West.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents during the ceremony in St. Michael's Catholic Church, Hewitt, with Rod Friedrickson singing and Mrs. Clarice Butkus, the organist.

The bride wore a white Queen Anne empire gown and her flowers were white carnations with pale pink roses and baby's breath.

Her attendants were Miss June Christie, Neillsville, maid of honor, and Mrs. Shelby Garbisch and Miss Marilyn Spiegel, both of Granton, bridesmaids. They had lilac knit dresses with lace capes and carried fans having lilac roses, light pink roses and baby's breath affixed to them.

Gary Bohman came from Hamilton, Ohio, to be best man. Groomsmen were David Knoop of Alma Center and John Oertel, Auburndale, and ushering were John Sikora and Carla Bryhan.

The reception was at Neises Hall, Rozellville, and the dance at Rozellville Ballroom. The newlyweds will make Marshfield their home.

She graduated in 1982 from Neillsville High School and was a seamstress at GO Sportswear in Neillsville. Her husband, an employee of Marshfield Canning Co., earned his high school diploma while serving in the U.S. Navy.
