Spiegel, Edgar A. (10 July 1920-7 July 1983)

NEILLSVILLE-- Edgar A. Spiegel, 62, Route 1, Neillsville, died Thursday at Memorial Hospital, Neillsville.

Services will be Saturday at the Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville. The Rev. Gary L. Clark of United Church of Christ, Neillsville, will officiate. Burial will be in Neillsville Cemetery.

He was born July 10, 1920 in Neillsville, to Mr. and Mrs. Alfred G. (Helga MacKeprang) Spiegel. He received his education in the town of Washburn and Grant schools. He worked as a rural milk hauler for several years, and was a truck driver for the Rollohome Corp. Marshfield, for 18 years. For the past several years he had been contract carrier for Nelson Muffler of Neillsville.

He married Betty J. Kuhl October 28 1944 in Neillsville. She survives along with a daughter, Kathy Spiegel of Eau Claire; a son, Dennis of Neillsville; two brothers, Bruce and Robert, Both of Granton; and two grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Alfred.
