Schiller, Francis E. (14 Oct. 1911 - 15 June 2008)

MEDFORD -- Francis E. Schiller, 96, of Wausau, formerly of Medford, died June 15, 2008, at Wausau Manor Nursing Home.

There will be no services nor visitation. Inurnment of his cremated remains will take place at a later date in Stetsonville Catholic Cemetery.

Francis was born Oct. 14, 1911, in Wisconsin Rapids to Emil and Emma (Knippel) Schiller. He married Mary Ann Docter on Aug. 16, 1936, in Wisconsin Rapids. He had worked as a consultant traveling worldwide teaching about paper mill machinery until his retirement. Upon retirement they resided in La Mesa, Calif., prior to moving to Medford in 2005.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Schiller of Our House Assisted Living, Medford; son, Gary (Phyllis) Schiller, Wisconsin Rapids; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
