Emmerich, Bradley J. (2 Feb. 1967 - 2 Nov. 1994)

KNOWLTON - Bradley J. Emmerich, 27, Mosinee, died at his home Nov. 2, 1994, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Knowlton, with the Rev. Joseph A. Grassl officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. Sunday at the Hayden Funeral Home in Mosinee and again at 9:30 a.m. Monday until service time at the church. A rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. followed by an 8 p.m. prayer service at the funeral home Sunday.

He was born on Feb. 2, 1967, in Medford, to Vernon and Victoria (Risch) Emmerich. He graduated from Medford Senior High School in 1985. After graduation, he was employed with Doberstein Lumber and Fence. He then attended Northcentral Technical College, Antigo, in 1986. He graduated in May of 1987.

He married Debra Suchon on Oct. 8, 1988, at St. Adelbert Catholic Church in Rosholt. He began his career in 1987 with Imperial Calumet Industries in Kroenwetter until October 1994, when he was forced to resign due to his battle with cancer. His hobbies included hunting and camping, but most of all he enjoyed woodworking.

He will be deeply missed by his wife, Debra Emmerich; his 4-year-old daughter, Jacquelyn Emmerich and 10-month-old son, Philip Emmerich, both at home.

He is further survived by his parents, five brothers, Jeff Emmerich of West Allis, Steven (Kathy) Emmerich of Silver Spring, Md., Daryl Emmerich, Greg Emmerich and Gary Emmerich, all of Eau Claire; three sisters, Cindy (Paul) Newton of Neenah, Victoria (Bill) Draeger of Gilman, and Barbara (Steve) Haen of Luxemburg; his grandmother, Veronica Risch; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Albert Risch and his paternal grandparents, Alfred and Maude Emmerich.

Memorials may be designated in his name to St. Joseph’s Hospice hospice home, House of the Dove.
