Kawleski, David C. (12 Apr. 1986 - 18 June 2005)

David C. Kawleski, 44, of 1998 Mayflower Road, Junction City, died unexpectedly Saturday, June 18, 2005, due to an automobile accident in Shawano County.

He was born on Feb. 24, 1961, in Stevens Point, to Clifford and Loretta (Wiza) Kawleski. He attended local schools, graduating from Stevens Point Area Senior High.

David was married to Lorraine Suchon on April 12, 1986, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Knowlton. The couple settled in the town of Eau Pleine area. David was self-employed. From 1986 to 1991 he was a long-haul truck driver. He was very active in his parish, helping at various activities and functions. He enjoyed nature and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Lorraine Kawleski of Junction City; his parents, Clifford and Loretta Kawleski of Junction City; one son, Andrew Kawleski of Junction City; three daughters, Rebecca Kawleski, Elizabeth Kawleski and Mary Kawleski, all of Junction City; two sisters, Barbara (John) Low of Park Ridge, Ill., and Ann (Dwynne) Sutheimer of Custer; three brothers, Michael (Jeanne) Kawleski of Sobieski, John Kawleski, and James (Becky) Kawleski of Eau Pleine.

He was preceded in death by an infant son.

The funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Our Savior's National Catholic Church, Mosinee, with the Rev. Marion Talaga officiating. Burial will take place at a later date. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home and again from 10 a.m. until time of services Friday at the church. There will be a prayer service at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
