Teresinski, Karen L. (29 May 1964 – 9 Jan. 2009)

Karen L. Teresinski, 44, of Spencer died Friday, Jan. 9, 2009, at her residence.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2009, at Rembs Funeral Home. Karen's ashes will be interred at a later date in McMillan Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday.

Karen was born May 29, 1964, to Andrew and Shirley (Schmidt) Teresinski in Milwaukee. She was a proud mother of her son, Jason. She fulfilled her lifelong dream of working with animals when she became a veterinarian technician in Germantown. Her and Jason moved to Spencer in 1991, where she continued to work with animals by opening Karen's Pet Grooming business. Her hobbies were breeding collies and miniature horses. She had a great love and passion for all animals and shared this with her fiance, Mike. Karen also was very giving of herself and enjoyed helping the 4-H with different functions and other community projects where she could lend a hand.

She is survived by her son, Jason Scheiding; her mother, Shirley Teresinski; a sister, Debi Pollock; four brothers, Andrew Teresinski, Jr., Daniel (Kathy) Teresinski, Russell (Amy) Teresinski and Stephen (Jodi) Teresinski; her fiance, Michael Welman; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father Andrew Teresinski.
