Funeral Services for Spencer Dentist to be Held Monday

Spencer - Dr. H. A. Krueger, 46, a dentist here for the past 17 years, died at 4 P. M. yesterday at his home, where he had been confined by illness for several months. Dr. Krueger had received treatment at Rochester, Minn., during the summer, but failed to regain his health.

A world War veteran and member of the American Legion, he was active in civic affairs, had served on the Village Board, and was a member of the Masonic order and the Spencer Lions Club.

Rites will be held at the Swarthout Funeral Home in Spencer at 10:20 A. M. Monday, followed by services at Trinity Norwegian Lutheran Church, Unity, at 11 A. M. Burial will take place at Birnamwood, with Masonic rites at the grave.

Dr. Krueger was born at Birnamwood on Nov. 1, 1894, and was married to Hildegard Helsten at Minneapolis on June 12, 1920. A graduate of Marquette University, he established a dental practice at Loyal before his marriage and came from there to Spencer 17 years ago. Surviving are Mrs. Krueger and his father, Gustav Krueger, who made his home with them and a brother, Walter W. Krueger at Rib Lake.

Spencer - Funeral rites for Dr. H. A. Krueger, 48, Spencer dentist, who died Oct. 10 were held 11 o'clock Monday Morning in the Lutheran Church at Unity, Preceded by a short service at the Swarthout Funeral Home, where the body had been lying in state.

The Rev. J. A. Olson, Unity officiated at the rites and internment was made in Forest (V *missing) cemetery, Birnamwood, beside his mother, Mrs. Guestave Krueger, who preceded him in death (t *missing) years ago. Masonic services were held at the grave.

Pallbearers were Lynn Catlin, Wisconsin Rapids; Paul Luedtke, Wausau; and G. W. Fenhouse, P.A. Kuethe, F. V. McIllhattan, and Lowell Taylor.

In charge of the floral tribute were Mrs. H. G. Haight, Neillsville; Mrs. Paul Luedtke, Wausau, Mrs. C. Warsinske, Marshfield, and Mrs. H. T. Callahan, Mrs. G. W. Fenhouse and Mrs. John Orgish.

Out of town relatives who attended the funeral were Mr. R. W. Elander, Akron, Ohio; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Helsten, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Helsten, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Nelson, Mr. and Mrs. George Nelson, Edwin, Delmore, and Kenneth Helsten, all of Rockford, Ill., Mrs. C. F. Mehlberg and William Mehlberg, Shawano; and Walter Krueger, Rib Lake, Many friends from away also were present.
