Lindahl, Lloyd A. (15 JUN 1952 - 1 APR 2013)

Lloyd A. Lindahl, 60, Stetsonville, was pronounced dead on Monday, April 1 at his home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 5 at 11 a.m. at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Stetsonville with military rites performed, and Rev. James H. Babler officiating. Pallbearers are Larry Roiger, Jack Johnson, Mike Ecklund, Adam Lindahl, Jon Kleist and Jim Metz.

Visitation will be held at Hemer Funeral Home in Medford on Thursday, April 4 from 4 to 8 p.m., and at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

Lloyd Lindahl was born on June 15, 1952 in Medford to Walter and Shirley (Kleist) Lindahl. He attended Pleasant Heights Elementary School and was a 1970 graduate of Medford High School. He was a member of the Medford National Guard for 25 years.

On April 28, 1978 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, he married Gail L. Christianson, and they later divorced. He worked at Tombstone Pizza as a truck driver, dispatcher and supervisor for 31 years. Most recently he worked as a dispatcher for Blume Farms Trucking, Roehl Trucking and at the the time of his death he was dispatching for Horst Trucking of Dorchester. He also tended bar at Simek Recreation Center and The Lounge Around, both in Medford, and did custom cooking work for various local functions.

He was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church where he was a past church council member, Ducks Unlimited, lifetime National Rifle Association member, past president of Chelsea Bowmen, Northwoods Archers and Taylor County Sportsman's Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing cards.

Survivors include his parents, Walter "Butch" and Shirley Lindahl of Memorial Nursing and Rehab Center in Medford; two sons, Eric (partner Donny Baiocchi) of Chicago, Ill., and Adam (Mindy) of Medford; a daughter, Darcy (Jeremy) Wall of Fairchild; a sister, Beverly (Dale) Schroeder of Stevens Point; a brother, Steve (Gloria) of Medford; and two grandchildren, Cory and Kayelee Lindahl, both of Medford.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be given to the family for future designation.
