Jeannette "Jen" A. Strobach, 90, Medford, died on Monday, July 2 at 
Memorial Nursing and Rehab Center in Medford. 
Visitation will be held on 
Friday, July 6 at Hemer Funeral Home in Rib Lake from 4 to 7 p.m., with services 
at 7 p.m. with Deacon Mark Priniski officiating. Cremainal inurnment will be at 
Lakeview Cemetery in Rib Lake at a later date.
Hemer Funeral Service of 
Medford assisted the family with arrangements.

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: 
When Jeannette was 1 year old her family moved to 
Milwaukee. In 1935 the family moved to the Medford area where they owned and 
operated a family dairy farm. After Bernard and Jeannette were married they 
moved to Illinois during WWII and in 1948 they moved to the Rib Lake area where 
they owned and operated a dairy farm. During this time Jen worked at Gem 
Products Shoe Factory, Rib Lake and also in the laundry department at the Rib 
Lake Nursing Home, Rib Lake. They then moved to Spirit Lake in 1972. She enjoyed 
fishing, cooking, traveling, vegetable and flower gardening. She also enjoyed 
reading and in her later years when she could no longer see the print, she would 
listen to books on cassette. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her 
family.

Taylor County Volunteer Driver, 4-H Leader, United Way Volunteer, Charter Member 
of the Spirit Lakes Improvement Association Board and Correspondent, Hope 
Hospice Volunteer, Little Bohemia Bowling League bowling for Sunderland’s.
