Granton (10 April 1969)

Mr. and Mrs. George Hales, accompanied by her sister, Miss Estelle Krejci of Neillsville, attended the wedding of Carol Hainz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Hainz, in Milwaukee, Saturday. They also called at the Guy Hales home in Port Washington and visited Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Hainz in Whitewater, Kitty Hales in Oconomowoc, and friends in Racine. They were accompanied to Granton by Connie Hainz, who is spending the vacation with her grandparents. While attending the wedding, Mr. and Mrs. Hales celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary.

Mr. and Mrs. William Hoeft moved Saturday onto the former Ed Lautenbach farm, which they recently purchased.

The Granton Happy Homemaker club will meet today (Thursday) at 2 o’clock at the home of Mrs. Carl Drescher in Neillsville.

Easter Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hoeft were Mr. and Mrs. Carl Drescher of Neillsville, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Free and David of the Town of York, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Drescher of Wisconsin Rapids, Mrs. Ottelia Hoeft of Granton, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Braatz of Wausau and Mrs. Marie Hanson and two sons of Marshfield.
