Fred Fravert Passes Away

Fred W. Fravert, 67, of Loyal passed away Sunday at 8:45 p.m. at Loyal, the victim of a heart attack. He had been in poor health since his retirement from farming four years ago.

The body was at the Myre Funeral Home at Loyal where funeral services were at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday with a 2 o’clock service at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal. Interment took place in the Lutheran cemetery at Loyal.

Mr. Fravert was born October 7, 1882 and came to Clark County 30 years ago. He was married at Greenwood May 2, 1906, to Bertha Gnotke, who preceded him in death Sept. 16, 1948.

Surviving are three sons, Edward, Spencer, and Arthur and Alvin, Loyal, two daughters Mrs. Herman (Ella) Schefus, Loyal; and Mrs. Lester (Dorothy) Kenyon, Spencer, 14 grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Anna Plath, and Mrs. Lydia Warner, both of Racine and Mrs. Alvina Schoettler, Loyal; and two brothers Albert and Otto, both of Greenwood.

His parents, the Henry Fravert’s, a daughter, Margaret, 3 sisters, and a brother preceded him in death.
