MHS Class of 1963 Gathers Here Saturday for Reunion Dinner
Members of the Medford High School graduating class of 1963 gathered
Saturday evening at the Chelsea Conservation clubhouse for their ten-year
reunion.
A social period proceeded the 8 o’clock dinner followed by a
short program and dancing with music by Gary and Lorna Waldhart.
Terry
Peterson served a toastmaster. Honored guests included Mr. and Mrs. Brian Kulas,
Miss Lucille Niland and Alberta Thaldorf and her husband, Orville Widvey.
Prizes were awarded to Ralph Viergutz, farthest distance; Dixie (Zuleger)
Noland, most children; Deanne (Olsen) Bauer, first reservation; Jim Emmerich,
last reservation; Carol (Czarnezki) Way, smallest waistline; Allen Waldhart,
baldest; Dave Doberstein, man who gained the most weight; Jerome Kleutsch,
recently married; Mark Metz, newest baby; Ralph Viergutz, oldest car; Joanne
(Roessler) Gesicki, shortest skirt; Lynn (Peterson) Mushel, widest bell bottoms;
Dennis Brost, widest tie; Roger Matson, birthday closet to July 7; Alvin Meyer,
man with most hair on his face.
Deceased classmates include Monion
Engle, Francis Tilch, Victor Tomczyk and Dave Habermeyer.
Mrs. Kay
(Resech) Ludwig was chairman of the reunion committee. Assisting her were Marion
Frahmann, Dixie Noland, Joe Cypher, Jim Jaslowski, Elva Storch, Marilyn Miller,
Carol Goerg, Carmen Vircks, Carol Way and Becky Amacher.
The group
agreed to hold another reunion in five years.
