Miss June Hodd, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hodd of Abbotsford, and Gerald Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kearney Johnson of Medford, exchanged marriage promise before an 11 o'clock nuptial High Mass at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Abbotsford, Saturday, June 20, 1964. The Rev. Raymond B. Schulz officiated at the ceremony before the altar which was decorated with vases of pink and white peonies.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of fine rose point lace over white faille with a train. The molded lace bodice curved to a V at the center of the waistband and was styled with a Sabrina neckline embroidered with iridescent sequins and seed pearls. The long lace sleeves tapered to a point over the wrists. The all lace skirt, shirred at the waistline, had a shirred pickup efect in front accented with a rolled lace rose. The pickup revealed sequin embroidered lace tiers with scalloped edging to the floor. The dress back was made of tiers of scalloped edge lace and fell to a chapel length train. Her fingertip veil of silk illusion was caught to a pearl headband with lace appliques. She carried an arrangement of red roses and white carnations with roses tied to streamers of white ribbon.

Attending the bride as maid of honor was her sister, Miss Carol Hodd of Abbotsford, and their cousin, David Bogue, was the best man. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Metz of Medford, brother-in-law and sister of the groom, were the other attendants. Glen Hodd of Minneapolis, a cousin of the bride, and Dan Roueller of Wis. Rapids, a friend of the groom, performed the ushering duties.

Blue dresses were worn by the bride's attendants. They were designed with nylon sheer over lace bodices with round necklines detailed with a bow at the back and elbow length sleeves. The skirts were made with sheer over taffeta. Blue face veils attached to sequined band crowns were chosen for their hair and blue tinted carnations were combined with white carnations to make their bouquets.

To her daughter's wedding, Mrs. Hodd wore a pink nylon dotted Swiss dress with white accessories. Mrs. Johnson wore an aqua sheath dress with white accessories.

Festivities of the wedding day included a one o'clock dinner at the church hall for 110 guests, a reception at the village hall, and a 4 o'clock buffet supper with dancing in the evening.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Johnson left on a wedding trip to Yellowstone National Park and on their return will live at 427 Maple St., Medford.

Prior to her marriage the bride was employed as a medical technician at Memorial Hospital, Wausau. Her husband is employed at Harvey's at Medford.

Guests attending the wedding came from Watseka, Ore., and Aurora, Ill.; Milwaukee, Medford, Withee, Spencer, Owen, Wis. Rapids, Hayward, Clinton and Beloit, Wis., and Minneapolis, Minn.
