Kren, Sandra Cheryl (Marriage - 28 June 1969)

Miss Sandra Cheryl Kren, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Kren of Rt. 3, Neillsville, and Gregory John Reed, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Reed of Milwaukee, exchanged wedding vows Saturday at 2 p.m. in St. Mary’s Catholic Chruch here. The Rev. George Nelson officiated at the double-ring ceremony performed in the presence of 150 guests. Bouquets of white gladioli and white ‘mums decorated the front of the church.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an A-line, empire-steel, floor-length gown of white nylon organza, featuring three-quarter length sleeves and a yoke over organza of lace. Her chapel-sweep train was attached to the back of her gown, and she wore a double tier seeded pearl crown, from which flowed a shoulder-length veil. Her flowers were a cascade arrangement of white stephanotis.

Miss Rita Beier of Oshkosh served as maid-of-honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Helen Horehled of Eau Claire and Miss Colleen Reed of Milwaukee. They wore floor-length, A-line style dresses of pink chiffon, with an extra panel and a satin bow attached to the back of the empire waist. They carried bouquets of pink tinted carnations.

Richard Woppert of Milwaukee was bestman, and Tim Flahive and Gene Brennan, both of Milwaukee, were groomsmen. Tim Kren of Neillsville and Pat Reed of Milwaukee served as ushers. Tommy Kren of Neillsville was ringbearer and Jacqueline Reed of Milwa7ukee was the flowergirl.

“The Wedding Prayer” and “O Perfect Love” were sung by Miss Chris Sampson of Milwaukee, accompanied by Mrs. Glenn Short. The Children’s Choir of St. Mary’s Church also sang.

A reception was held at Bali Hai Supper Club for 150 guests. After a wedding trip to Canada, Mr. and Mrs. Reed will reside at 7332 State St. Wauwatosa.

Mrs. Reed is a 1966 graduate of Neillsville High School and graduated from Milwaukee County General Hospital School of Nursing in 1969, where she will be employed. Mr. Reed is attending Milwaukee Technical College and is enrolled in business law.
