We have had plenty of winter, thank you.

Mrs. Ida Pease was a caller at the Abe Vandeberg home last Saturday.

Mrs. Howard Begley had a surgical operation performed at the Neillsville Hospital last Friday by Dr. Larson of Milwaukee.

Frank Zickert has purchased the Ben Harper farm. Consideration $5,000. His son-in-law, Will Diercks, expects to move onto it and attend to the work.

Mr. and Mrs. Dan Timerson spent Sunday with friends near Christie.

Sylvester Pease went to Chippewa Falls Friday on a visit to some relatives.

John Begley expects to undergo an operation next Thursday at the Neillsville Hospital by Dr. Larson.

Frank Kelley has a pen of four foxes that he is trying to tame. Frank is a pretty good hand at it and no doubt will succeed.

Kearney Davis was on our street last Thursday. He was driving a new 1918 Tin Lizzy.

Miss Gladys Parrett spent a day or two last week with her sister, Mrs. Nina Bardell at Heintown.

Miss E.G. Anderson, Miss Ruth Vandeberg, Arthur and Bertha Diercks and Irvin Vandeberg spent Tuesday evening with Violet Fulwiler.

C. Buddinger and Frances, E.G. Rowe, H. Begley and the writer were at Neillsville last Tuesday.
