Becraft, Grace (31 OCT 1964)

On Saturday, Oct. 31, 1964, Gordon L. Suder of route 1, Abbotsford, took Miss Grace Becraft of route 2, Edgar, as his bride in a 7:30 o'clock double ring ceremony read by the Rev. F.R. Timler.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Becraft of Edgar was presented in marriage by her maternal grandfather of Wausau to the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Suder of Abbotsford.

Attending them were Mr. and Mrs. Ed Suder Jr. of Abbotsford, brother and sister-in-law of the groom.

For her wedding the bride chose a pink suit with which she wore brown accessories and matching hat with a small veil. Her matron of honor was attired in a blue suit with a hat similar to the bride's and other accessories in beige.

Pink roses and white gardenias were combined in the bride's corsage, and pink roses and white pompons were used in Mrs. Suder's.

The mothers of the bridal couple had corsages of pink and white roses and a corsage of pink carnations was presented to the bride's maternal grandmother who attended the wedding.

Kenneth Kloth of Dorchester, a friend of the groom, performed the ushering duties.

A reception for the immediate family and friends were held at the Rainbow Club at Jerkwater immediately after the ceremony. Later the new Mr. and Mrs. Suder received the congratulations and best wishes of friends at the Holton Town Hall, who came from Edgar, Wausau, Phillips, Dorchester, Abbotsford, and the surrounding area.

Mr. and Mrs. Suder are making their home at Edgar. The groom, a graduate of the Abbotsford High School, will be employed in Wausau. His bride, a graduate of the Edgar High School, is employed at the Weyerhaeuser plant at Marshfield.
