Anderson, John Otto (28 JUL 1945 - 25 NOV 1987)

Death notices obtained from the Medford High School, Class of 1963 Index of Kay (Resech) Ludwig.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday morning, November 29, at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, Chicago, for John Otto Anderson, 44, Chicago, a former Medford area resident who died Saturday, November 25, at American Nursing Home in Chicago where he had resided for the past two months.

Rev. Peters officiated and burial took place in Resurrection Cemetery at Chicago.

Mr. Anderson, son of the late Norman T. and Marie (Clarkson) Anderson, was born July 28, 1945, at Medford and moved to Chicago as a teenager. He later served in the US Army.

Until his death, Mr. Anderson was employed by Wrigley Gum Company at Chicago.

His marriage to Carol Janota, who survives, took place October 19, 1982, at Las Vegas, Nev.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two brothers, Charles (Sherry), Stetsonville, and Dennis, Owen; four sisters, Shirley, Mrs. Richard Verdone, Medford, Lynda, Mrs. Randy Sachmann, Westboro, Esther, Mrs. James Kavanagh, Palos Park, Ill., and Dawn, Mrs. David Wild, Chicago, and nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by a brother.
