Neumann, Sandra Rae (01 MAY 1965)

Sandra Rae Neumann, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Neumann, of Spencer, was united in marriage to Jerome Lee Elsinger, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Elsinger, route 2 Loyal on Saturday, May 1 at one o’clock p.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Loyal.  The Rev. Father Norbert E. King officiated at the Nuptial Mass and St. Anthony’s choir sang the mass.

The bride’s gown was of white French designed scalloped Chantilly lace, with Sabrina neckline, long sleeves and fitted bodice, a very large ruffled, tiered skirt with apron effect panel in front. The skirt back ended in a chapel train completing her ensemble was a finger tip veil secured to a head piece.  Her bridal bouquet consisted of red roses accented with white wedding flowers and rosebud streamers.

The bridal attendants were Miss Diane Neumann, of Spencer, sister of the Bride, as maid of honor, Miss Mary Elsinger, route 2, Loyal, and Mrs. John Fischer, route 2, Spencer, both sisters of the groom.  The bridal attendants all were seen in identical dresses of peau de soie, ice blue in color, with scoop necklines, empire waist, and train in the back.  Their flowers were blue pom-poms and white wedding flowers on lace fans.  They had wire blue head pieces and tiny veils.

Thomas Elsinger, brother of the groom, was best man, Jerry Neumann, brother of the bride and Jon Fischer, brother-in-law of the groom, were groomsmen.  Ushers were Ronald Rueth of Loyal and Royal Neumann of Spencer.

A reception was held at the Municipal Hall in Spencer.  A supper for the immediate family was held at the Star Lodge Motel, Loyal.

The groom was a 1962 graduate of Loyal High School and the bride graduated in 1964 from Spencer High School.  Both bride and groom are employed at Pathfinder Mobile Homes Inc., Spencer.  They will reside at Spencer.

Guests from away who attended the wedding were from Unity, Colby, Chicago, Schwano, Spencer and the state of Iowa.
