Ratsch. Beverly (11 July, 1964)

Marriage vows were exchanged between Miss Beverly Jean Raysch, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Ratsch, route 1, Greenwood, and Roger Lau, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Lau, route 1, Loyal, on Saturday, July 11.

The o’clock ceremony was performed by the Rev. A. M. Moldenhauer in Trinity Lutheran Church at Loyal.

Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride was gowned in a floor length bridal gown of peau de sole with chantilly lace forming the scalloper Sabrina neckline which was jewel-trimmed. The full skirt of the wedding dress featured lace appliqués in the front and back and ended in a chaprl sweep. The bride carried talisman roses.

Pastor Moldenhauer sang “The Lord’s Prayer” and was accompanied at the organ by his daughter, Miss Faith Moldenhauer. White baby’s breath, yellow and white daisies and yellow gladioli were arranged in bouquets for decoration in the church.

Miss Gloria Ratsch, Greenwood, was maid of honor with Mrs. Adeline Ratsch, Granton and Miss Beverly Seehafer, Marshfield, Bridesmaids. They were gowned in Mint green formals having fitted bodices of silk organza over lace with beateau necklines and fullt gathered skirts of organza over taffeta and fly-away sashes. Each carried a bouquet of yellow roses.

Dale Riedel of Granton serves the groom as best man. Gerald Ratsch and Ronald Ratsch of Greenwood were groomsmen. Bruce Ratsch, Greenwood and Marlyn Ratsch, Granton, ushered.

A reception was held in the Legion Hall in Neillsville and a dance that evening at the Silver Dome Ballroom.

The new bride is a 1962 graduate of Loyal High School and has ben employed at Palmer Vinger Reality. Her husband, a 1961 graduate of the same school, works at Preway inc. at Wisconsin Rapids.

After their wedding trip to northern Wisconsin, the couple will live at Wisconsin Rapids.
