Arthur Diercks made a trip to Loyal Sunday on his bicycle.

Gladys Parrett gave a Halloween party Saturday night at her home.

There was quite a large gathering of friends and neighbors last Thursday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Benedict, the occasion being to celebrate the birthdays of Mrs. Wm. Benedict and Mrs. S.A. Adams.

Quite a number of Royal Neighbors went to Neillsville last Wednesday and were entertained by the camp there.

John and Abram Vande Berg and their wives and Will, Alvin and Horace Vande Berg went to Spencer last Thursday to attend the funeral of their cousin, Henry Vandehouse.

Earl Lawrence and wife left Friday for a visit at Fox Lake, Waupun. They will also visit at Chetek and Tomah before going to their future home in Montana.

Will O’Brien has improved the appearance of his front yard by doing some grading.

Last Saturday Martin O’Brien assisted A.P. Fulwiler in repairing his silo roof, which was damaged by lightning.

Mrs. Sadie Lawrence called on Mrs. Ida Pease last Saturday.

Jesse Mortimer is building a nice, large hen house.

Mrs. Estella Mortimer and son, George, went to Chilton Saturday and attended the funeral of a relative.

Jake Schaefer’s new barn is nearly completed.

Wm. Garvin of Antigo is visiting his sister, Mrs. Martin O’Brien.

Mrs. Jennie Graves and children spent Saturday and Sunday at Veefling with Ed. Stevens and wife.

Abe Vande Berg had his basement all finished and ready for use.

Mrs. Mary Davis came over from Marshfield Thursday to be present at the celebration of her daughter’s birthday.

Dam Timerson is reshingling his barn.
