Larsen, Tana L. (Marriage - 31 January 1970)

Given in marriage by her father, Miss Tana L. Larsen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Royce Larsen of Neillsville, became the bride of Kenneth H. Pischer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Pischer, also of Neillsville, at a 7:30 p.m. candlelight ceremony January 31 at the Calvary Lutheran Church. The Rev. Daniel Litzer officiated at the double-ring ceremony.

The bride chose a floor-length gown of white faille fashioned with Empire waist, long, tapered sleeves and chapel train. Her bouffant veil was attached to a bow crown and she carried a French colonial bouquet of hyacinths, carnations and pink sweetheart roses.

Miss Lyn Opelt and Miss Sharon Olson, both of Madison, served as maid of honor and bridesmaid. They were attired in floor-length skimmers of chiffon over taffeta in fiesta pink. Their nosegays were shades of pink carnations and purple statice.

James Ibach served as bestman and Edward Stanek was groomsman. Both are of Madison. Jay Larsen and David Pischer, brothers of the bride and groom, ushered.

“One Hand, One Heart” and “The Lord’s Prayer,” were sung by Miss Julie Knoff. Organist was Miss Marilyn Galstad.

Following the ceremony a buffet luncheon was served in the church parlors.

Mr. and Mrs. Pischer are 1967 graduates of Neillsville High School. The bride attended Wisconsin State University-Eau Claire, where she was a member of the Fau taus Sorority, and is presently attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is employed at the University of Wisconsin department of posts-graduate medicine. The groom also attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and is now employed as a laboratory technician at Research Products, Inc.

Mr. and Mrs. Pischer are residing at 615 Skyview Pl., Madison.
