Olsen, Audrey Kay (10 JUL 1965)

Miss Audrey Kay Olsen of 2532 W. Concordia Ave., Milwaukee and Dennis Richard Olson of 6600 North 77th St., Milwaukee exchanged wedding vows at Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal, July10 at 1 o’clock with the Rev. Floyd Olsen of Sioux Rapids, Iowa, uncle of the bride officiating.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Olsen and Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Olson both of route 1, Loyal.

Vern Dahlby sang “The Lord’s Prayer’ and “Wedding Prayer” and Mrs. Kenneth Voss was at the organ.  Two bouquets of mint green carnations and red roses decorated the church as the bride was given in marriage by her father.  She wore a gown of embossed white peau de soie satin styled by a bell shaped skirt and a lace jacket, with the train of the dress being attached with a large bow at the waistline.  Her floral headpiece with pearls held an elbow length veil and her flowers were a large red rose surrounded by white and red rosebuds in heart shape.

Miss Karen Pieper of Loyal was the maid of honor and Mrs. Ronald Rueth and Miss Sue Olsen of Loyal; and Mrs. Larry Noeldner of Marshfield were the bridesmaids.  The aides wore floor length dresses of mint green embossed of peau de soie satin and matching pillbox hats with shoulder length veils and carried a long stemmed red rose.

Pamela Olson, Milwaukee and Mark Rueth, Loyal were the flower girl and ring bearer.

The groom chose Donald Olson as his best man and the groomsmen being James Olsen and William Pagelsdorf also of Loyal; and Larry Noeldner, Marshfield.

Performing the usher duties were Larry Rueth and Ray Feldt.  Guests came from Chicago, Illinois; Sioux Rapids, Iowa; Milwaukee, Sun Prairie, Delafield, Koehler, Owen, Neosha, Greenwood, Colby and Loyal.

The couple are both 1963 graduates of Loyal High School.  She was a secretary for two years at the Marshfield Senior High School and is now employed at an insurance firm in Milwaukee, where her husband is with the Fleming Material Co.  He also attended Wisconsin State University-River Falls.

After a wedding trip to the states of Kentucky, Tennessee, the Carolinas and Virginia, the couple will live at 6600 N. 77th St. in Milwaukee.
