School closed last Wednesday in district #1 with a basket social.  About 40 baskets were sold and a large crowd turned out.  Leon Weal and sister furnished some very nice music.

Mel Turner and son Neal drove to Loyal Friday.

Ernest Stayton returned home to Richland Center last Thursday.  He has been visiting Mr. and Mrs. Eysnogle the past three weeks.

Mrs. Robert Teatz and son Roy spent Friday afternoon with Mrs. M. Turner.

Miss Dessie Eysnogle has been on the sick list the past week.
