PATRICIA BRUCHERT IS BRIDE OF JOHN LEIBKE

Married Saturday, November 7, at 2:00 p.m. in St. John’s Lutheran Church at Withee by the Rev. Leroy Urman were Miss Patricia Ann Bruchert, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Bruchert, and John William Leibke, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Sorensen, all of Withee. Mr. Bruchert gave his daughter in marriage.

Organist for the nuptial ceremony was Mrs. Herman Rabska while Miss Diane Burhop sang “The Lord’s Prayer” and “O Promise Me.”


There were two altar bouquets of gladioli.

Silk bombazine was used to fashion the bridal gown designed with chapel train, scoop neckline and embroidered lace down the front of the bodice and on the full skirt, which also had bows at the back of the drop waistline.

The bridal veil was secured to a fabric rose headpiece and her bouquet, which was centered with white Fuji mums, was surrounded with red roses.

Miss Bonnie Anderson, the maid of honor, and Miss Nancy Hendricks, the bridesmaid, both of Minneapolis, Minn., wore royal blue brocade floor length formals. They had scoop necklines bows at the back waist. Each had a floral arrangement.

Nick Matkovich, Willard, was the best man; Ken Petersen, Madison, the groomsman and Peter Rheingans, Rockfield, and John Anderson, Mauston, the ushers.

The wedding reception was held at the Meadow view Country Club at 4:00 p.m. while the dance began at 9 o’clock that evening at the American Legion Hall, Owen.

The bride and groom attended Owen-Withee High School. She is employed by the Continental Baking Co., and he works for Lyndale Automotive. They will live in Minneapolis, Minn., at 2630 Blaisdell Ave. S.

Weddings guests came from Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Menomonie, Wilson, Mauston, Rockfield and surrounding areas.
