PATRICIA JARCHOW WEDS DAVID BLAZER DEC 12

A 5:00 o’clock marriage ceremony was performed Saturday evening, December 12, at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church at Withee during which Miss Patricia D. Jarchow of Milwaukee and David R. Blazer, Owen were married by the Rev. LeRoy Urman.

Parents of the newlyweds are Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Jarchow and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Blazer, all of Owen.

Mrs. Herman Rabska was the organist and Mrs. Ted Klabon sang two solos, “O Perfect Love: and “Wedding Benediction.” Poinsettia plants were placed on the altar and similar blossoms were affixed to the church pews with white bows.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white ribbonette box suit, a shoulder-length chapel veil and held a crescent of red tea roses.

Mrs. Sharon Kurhais, Des Plaines, Ill., was matron of honor, and Miss Carol Blazer, Minneapolis, Minn., served as bridesmaid. The former wore a mint green box suit and the latter’s was royal blue. Each had matching accessories and they carried a single long-stemmed white rose.

Philip Cieslik, Owen, was best man; Louis Kurhais, the groomsman, and Lyle Dickinson and Gary Graham were ushers.

The wedding reception was held at Meadowview County Club, Owen, after which the newlyweds left on a wedding trip to Texas and into Mexico. Withee will be their home.

Mrs. Blazer, who was graduated in 1959 from Owen-Withee High School, has been employed by Allen Bradley in Milwaukee. Her husband, who was graduated from the same high school in 1956, works for Badger Shooters Supply Co., Owen.
