Mr. S.F. Hewett, the county surveyor, returned to Willard Monday morning to resume his work running lines.

G.W. Bishop of Greenwood has completed D.S. Holsinger's well, depth 47 feet and plenty of water.

Antone Tumkle shipped a carload of wood to Fairchild parties the past week.

Harvey Long and his father-in-law, E.P. Trostle were in Greenwood Saturday.

Bishops well drill has been moved up to the farm of Joseph Jordan. Mr. Jordan dug a well last fall, but failing to properly curb it up, it caved in so badly that it became useless. He will now have one drilled.

Mr. Hewett returned to his home in Neillsville on Saturday, having completed his work here.

Ignac Cesnik went to Fairchild Friday.

A.L. Clair purchased a calf of A.C. Altenbern last Thursday.

E.P. Trostle and A.L. Clair spent part of last week and this in the vicinity of Stanley.

The sawmill is in active operation again.

Wm. Abel hauled logs for Jacob Blut one day last week.

Antone Tumkle has a car nearly loaded with heading bolts.

Ignac Cesnik left Monday for Illinoi. He will no doubt bring back several new settlers with him.

David Dammeier and Jessie Anderson are her visiting, the former from Lena, Ill. and the latter from Canada.

Our new store keeper, Mr. Samberg, is enjoying a good trade.

A.L. Clair and Wm. Dammeier made a shot call in Fairchild Wednesday afternoon.
