Zuege, Frank (8 April 1901 - 2 May 1970)

Funeral services for Frank Zuege, 69, of Rt. 1 Loyal, who died May 2, were held from the Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal at 2 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. William Humlie officiated and burial was made in the Lutheran Cemetery.

Mr. Zuege was born April 8, 1901, in the Town of Loyal. He was raised in that area and was married there to Elsie Johnson, June 15, 1928. He farmed with his wife’s parents and he and his wife were living there at the time of his death. He was a life-long resident, and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Eugene of Loyal and James of Spencer; three brothers, Herman of Banning, Calif., Bernard of Milwaukee, and Ernest of Stevens Point; five sisters, Mrs. Helen Welch of Fond du Lac, Mrs. Ernest (Margaret) Hinkelmann and Mrs. John (Anna) Habbegger, both of Loyal, and Mrs. Alma Hall and Mrs. Patrick (Leona) Martin, both of Milwaukee; and three grandchildren.

Pallbearers were: Herbert Hinkelmann, Arnold Stumpner, David Smith, Donald Smith, Rubin Litke and Hew Darten. Two hymns, “Beyond the Sunset” and “Rock of Ages” were sung by Mrs. Erwin Dux and Mrs. Verland Dux, accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Gladis Olson.

Funeral arrangements were made by the Roycraft Funeral Home.
