Johnson, Nancy Jane (21 December 1939 - 31 July 2013)

Nancy Jane Johnson, 73, passed away July 31, 2013, after her third battle with cancer. She was laid to rest beside her first love, Curtis Gest, at the Wisconsin Memorial Park in Milwaukee.

Nancy was born Dec. 21, 1939, in Marshfield and grew up in Neillsville. She graduated from Neillsville High School with the class of 1957. She married Curtis Gest of Watertown and moved to Milwaukee, where they had five boys, Terry, Allan, John, Dan and Paul. After retiring, she was engaged to Robert Weslouski. Following his passing, Nancy moved back to her home in Neillsville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Julia Reber; brother, Richard Reber; and sisters, Margarett Lewis and Carol Short.

Nancy is survived by her sons, Terry and wife Carla Gest, Allan and his wife Cindy Gest, John, Dan and Paul Gest; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

We will miss you, the way you made a bad day good with a joke or your smile. Nancy gave of her heart always. We love you, Mom.

There will be an intimate gathering for family and friends Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Speakeasy, W7652 U. S. Hwy. 10 Neillsville. Refreshments will be served.
