Holmes, Inez (09 Feb 1885 - !4 Apr 1967)

Funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon, April 14, at Gilbertson Funeral Home for Miss Inez Holmes, 82, who passed away at Memorial Hospital, Neillsville Wedresday morning, April 12.

Pastor Sheldon Seltzer, Marshfield officiated at the service and burial was at Lynn cemetery.

Mrs. Schmidtke and Mrs. Van Kayser sang “Asleep in Jesus” and “In the City Four Square” accompanied by Mrs. Leland Garbisch, organist.

Pallbearers were Durwood Schwarze, William Schmidtke, Walter Trimberger and William Beechler.

Miss Holmes was born February 9, 1885 in the town of Lynn, Clark County and received her education there and at the Neillsville High Svhool. She taught school at Chili and in the town of Lynn and also gave music lesions.

Miss Holmes had spent her entire life in the Granton area and was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Her only survivors are a sister Miss Gertrude Holmes and cousins Pearle and Daphne Beechler and Ben Beechler. Her parents and a brother preceded her in death.
