Noll, Carol (Marriage - 14 August 1971)

Miss Carol Noll and Conrad Weil both of Mill Valley, Calif., were married in a 3 p.m. ceremony performed August 14 at the century-old Swedenborgian Church in San Francisco. The Rev. John Grebuer officiated at the candlelight service.

Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Noll of Rt. 1 Granton are the parents of the bride, who is a graduate of Granton High School and Eau Claire State University. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Weil, Sr., of Calistoga, Cal.

The bride wore an ivory empire-style gown of peau de soie, embroidered with scalloped Belgian lace and highlighted by a full mantilla veil of matching lace. She carried a summer cascade bouquet of royal blue bachelor buttons, baby white tea roses and blue forget-me-nots as she was given in marriage by her father.

Maid of honor Julie Feinberg, Moraga, Cal., wore an ice blue empire-style summer frock fashioned with full, Spanish sleeves and a white lace embroidered overskirt. She carried a nosegay bouquet of blue forget-me-nots.

Bill Weil, Santa Rosa, Cal., served as bestman for his brother.

Flowergirl Christine Zimmerman was dressed in an ice blue gown with a white embroidered overskirt. Blue satin binding trimmed the waistline, which closed with a bow at the back.

A garden reception at the couple’s new Swiss-style villa at mill Valley followed the ceremony. Brightly-colored flowers and decorations created an authentic Spanish wedding festival atmosphere throughout the garden.

The 100 guests who gathered from all points of the United States were entertained throughout the afternoon and evening by authentic mariachi music provided by the Carolos Alcorn Musicians.
