Humbird (19 August 1971)

Mrs. Beth Jeffery of Scott city, Kans., spent last week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. will Hein.

Judy Boettcher of Taylor spent from Monday until Thursday with Mrs. Emma Gerber.

Mr. and Mrs. Levi Fitzmaurice and Mildred were supper guests Sunday at the Bob Fitzmaurice home in Augusta.

George Shaffer of St. Cloud, Minn., came Saturday to visit his mother, Mrs. Al Raymond, for a couple of days.

Mr. and Mrs. Sam Fitzmaurice, Mr. and Mrs. Levi Fitzmaurice, Mrs. Al Raymond, Mr. and Mrs. Jake Lightfoot and daughters attended the funeral of Mrs. Bob (Grace Phillips) Englesby Monday in Eau Claire.

Mrs. Harriette Gorst and a friend from Eau Claire visited Sunday afternoon at the Will Hein home.

Mrs. Johanna Olson was a dinner guest Sunday at the Ernest Olson home.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Laffe, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Clouse of Loyal, Mr. and Mrs. Orin Wold, John and Gordon, of Disco, were supper gusts of Wednesday of Mrs. Ida Wold in rural Black River Falls.

Mr. and Mrs. George Zuehlke of Loyal, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Johnson and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Johnson and family of Taylor, and Miss Jo Ann Wagner of Neillsville were dinner guests Sunday at the Roy Johnson home, honoring the 18th birthday of their eldest son.

Mr. and Mrs. Mel Markham visited Sunday afternoon at the Raymond Stuve home.

Mrs. Bennie Harnish of La Crosse came Thursday to spend the weekend at the Lyle Newell home.

Mr and Mrs. Lyle Newell and Virgil spend Sunday afternoon with their daughter and family Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Staves, who are vacationing at Hatfield.

Mrs. Delores Oligney of the Black River Falls area visited Saturday afternoon at the Cullen Dignin home.

Mr and Mrs. Henry Laffe were super guests Sunday at the Ben Clouse home in Loyal.

Visitors at the home of Mrs. Christine Hansen last week were Mrs. Belle Mazola of Illinois, Mr. and Mrs. Rob Jackson and four grandchildren of Greenwood and Mr. and Mrs. Duane Seelow of Milwaukee.
