Zimmerman, Seth D. (25 JUN 2000 - 23 DEC 2013)

Seth D. Zimmerman, 13, of rural Owen, drowned near his home while clearing snow on a pond on Monday, December 23, 2013.

Seth was born June 25, 2000, the son of Darrell and Melinda (Oberholtzer) Zimmerman in Medford.

He was a farm boy and loved operating machinery.

Seth is survived by his parents, Darrell and Melinda; three brothers and four sisters, Jewel. Lisa, Lynn, Kara, Brent, Adrian and Janneken; grandparents, Gene and Carol Zimmerman and Paul and Mary Edna Oberholtzer; and great-grandparents, Carl and Lila Zimmerman and Ammon and Anna Zimmerman.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Anna Obserholtzer, and an uncle.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 AM on Friday, December 27, 2013 at the Owen Mennonite Church.

The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home of Owen is assisting the family with arrangements.
