Glen Drew of Milwaukee spent the weekend here with his family.

Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Haunschild and family spent the weekend at Mondovi.

Mrs. Joe Rubinski of Minneapolis spent the weekend with her brother James McConnell and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Dalbert Mondloch and family moved last week onto a farm near Spokeville.

Mrs. Harold Lobrier and children of Milladore, Mrs. Tony Schullo, Minneapolis spent Memorial Day with their brother Arthur Christie and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Speich and children of Wabasha, Minn. spent the weekend with his father John Speich, and visited with friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Orlando Meyer and family, Cameron; Palmer Hembre, La Crosse, were visitors here over Memorial Day.

Mr. and Mrs. Newell Hunt of Chippewa Falls, Dr. Hale Hunt, La Crosse and Mrs. Fay Brown, New York visited friends here Memorial Day.

Mr. and Mrs. Armin Gruenke and family of Auburndale moved into the Anton Krainz residence last Thursday.

Mr. and Mrs. Ben Erickson, Wis. Rapids visited Sunday at the Bernard Denk home.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dill, Chicago; Norbert and Harvey Dill, Milwaukee, spent the weekend with their mother, Mrs. Lydia Dill.

Major and Mrs. Elery Poppe, enroute from Quantico, Va. to San Diergo, Calif., spent a week at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Poppe.

Pvt Charles A. Krapf Jr. is receiving his basic training at Camp Chaffee, Ark. Pvt Krapf is with the 47th Armored Infantry Battalion of the 5th Armored Division. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. A. Krapf Sr.

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Keateh and daughter Jackie of Viola; Mr. and Mrs. Albert Ampe and daughter Diane of Washington, Kansas, spent Memorial Day with their mother, Mrs. Frieda Ampe.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert carl moved Sunday into the home they recently purchased.

Gilbert Dill of Hallandale, Minn. visited with his mother, Mrs. Lydia Dill and other relatives over Memorial day weekend.

Mr. and Mrs. Art Ludwigson of Milwaukee visited relatives here Memorial Day and the weekend.

Theo. Humke returned to Milwaukee with his son-in-law and daughter, Mrs. and Mrs. Willard Stafford, for a visit.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Stabnow and Mrs. Perry Volk were Marshfield callers Tuesday afternoon.

Donna and Robert Krainz, Willard spent the weekend at the John Kaltinger home.

Mr. and Mrs. henry Baehr, Withee were callers at the Hubert Horn home on Sunday evening.

Miss Elaine Jolivette, Marshfield and Dale Jolivette, Stevens Point spent the weekend with their parents.

Mr. and Mrs. Everett Humke of La Crosse spent the Memorial Day weekend at the W.A. Stewart home.

Mr. and Mrs. Carl Keiner, daughters Mary and Marie, and Larry Mason, Eau Claire visited Saturday evening at the home of Mrs. Christ Keiner.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Pfeifer, two daughters Lola and Mary and sons Jackie and Carlie of Milwaukee spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Swieso.

Miss Lillian Borseth and friend, Mr. Ecklers of Minneapolis visited Memorial Day at the Victor Krokson home and called on friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Hoesly and son Michael, Madison, spent Memorial Day and the weekend with her parents, Dr. and Mrs. R.L. Barnes.

Mr. and Mrs. John Kaltinger Jr., Donna and Robert Krainz and Shirley Severson were at Rice Lake and Holcomb on Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Denk of Alma Center; Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Denk Jr., Eau Claire visited Sunday at the Bernard Denk home.

Mr. and Mrs. Roy Masters, Milwaukee visited Memorial Day and the weekend at the E.L. Ketchpaw home and greeted old friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Sowieja and sons of West Allis visited over Memorial Day here with relatives and friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Otis Stowe and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Stowe of Abbotsford were Memorial Day callers in Greenwood.

Harland Carl and Miss Jean Riley of Madison visited Thursday evening with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Carl. They were accompanied by Ray Carlson, also of Madison.

Friends of Mrs. Leonard Benson will be glad to learn that she and the children landed safely at Phoenix, Ariz., enroute to their new home at Flagstaff, Ariz., where Mr. Benson is employed. The trip was made by plane.

Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Decker and son Robert, Milwaukee spent Memorial Day and the weekend here with relatives and freinds.

Mr. and Mrs. Glen Stewart, James and Mary, and Miss Mary Lou Stewart of Marshfield visited Sunday at the Robert Stewart home.

Word was received here Sunday of the death of Charles Amundson, former resident, who passed away in Illinois. The body was brought here Wednesday and burial services were held in the afternoon. We hope to have an obituary next week.

Mrs. Ollie Johnson of Wausau called on friends here Memorial Day.

Miss Nancy Wachholz, Bruce is visiting the Dr. R.J.H. Weiher home.

Mrs. Anna Arbs of Eau Claire visited here over the weekend.

Mr. and Mrs. George Johnson of Mosinee called on friends here Memorial Day.

Mr. and Mrs. Norman Friske and family of Whitehall visited here Memoiral Day.

Mrs. Hubert Jackson, Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Stauber, Milwaukee spent the weekend at the Earl Sloniker home.

Miss gene Ampe of Madison spent the weekend at the homes of Mrs. Frieda Ampe and Wm. Stabnow.

Miss Virginia Ampe, Milwaukee spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Ampe.

Miss Patsy Syth, Madison, spend the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Syth.

Misses Donna Mae Buker and Mavis Jacobi left last Wednesday for Milwaukee where they are employed.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bartelt and son of Kaukauna spent the weekend at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hohl.

Mr. and Mrs. Bill Lee, Elkhorn were overnight visitors at the Jack Seibold home Saturday. Other visitors Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Liebzeit and Mr. and Mrs. Ben Dallman and sons.

Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Caliebe spent the weekend at the Chas. Garber home in Milwaukee.

Mrs. Arleigh Syth and Mrs. Earl Caliebe spent Sunday and Monday visiting relatives at Rochester, Minn.

Miss Jeanne Wessel returned to Chicago on Monday, after spending the Memorial weekend here.

Mr. and Mrs. Vern Smith of Milwaukee spent Friday and Memorial Day at the Fred Behrens home and visited other friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Willard Stafford and son of Milwaukee visited over the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. I.W. Stafford and with her father, Theo. Humke.

Mr. and Mrs. Ed Bogdonovich went to Berlin, Wis. Friday evening. Ed returned home Sunday, while Mrs. Bogdonovich remained for the week with her parents there.

Mr. and Mrs. Tony Celesnik and family, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. ed Langfeldt, daughter Lucille and son Billy visited their father Gregor Celesnik over Memorial Day and the weekend.

Mr. and Mrs. Merlyn Horn and son Merlyn Jr. of Norfolk, Va., visited at the Oscar Miller home and with other relatives and friends here and at Chili.

Mr. and Mrs. W.G. Hartson, Neillsville were visitors here Memorial Day.

Mrs. W.A. Stewart attended a meeting of the Book Club at the Cecil Looker home at Owen last Wednesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stewart visited Friday afternoon at the Robert Stewart Jr. home at Stanley.

Mr. and Mrs. Ken Rodgers and Mrs. alice Killion spent from Thursday until Sunday at Briggsville.

Mrs. Ray Shaw and two daughters and granddaughters, Neillsville, called on friends here Memorial Day.

Mr. and Mrs. Don Syth, Eau Claire visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Syth on Memorial Day.

Harold Friend of Oconomowoc spent Memorial Day and the weekend here with friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Drake and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Swieso attended a family get together Sunday afternoon at the Rena and Harold Herdrich home near Loyal.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Oblack and children of Loyal; Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Mikottis and son Joe visited the John Kaltinger Jr. home.

Mr. and Mrs. grant Rear and sons Grant and Gary of Eau Claire visited at the Tom Erickson home Memorial Day and called on friends.

Alice Jordan of Waukegan, Ill. was one of the 493 Seiniors who graduated from the Waukegan Township High School on June 1st. Alice is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Jordan of Greenwood and Mrs. Betty Johnson of Waukegan, Ill.

Memorial Day callers at the Harold Stabnow home were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Tolleth, Wis. Dells; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Etta, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Anderson, Minneapolis; Miss Jean Woodkey, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Carl Keiner, Mary and Marie, Larry Munson, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Etta, Eau Claire; Mr. and Mrs. Eno Strand, Fairchild; Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Etta, Beloit; Mr. and Mrs. Perry Volk, Loyal.
