Columbia (31 Aug 1916)
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Moser, Jr., of Fairview brought their little dAughter to the
Hewett Cemetery last week for interment. The child died in its infancy and it
being the first and only child in the family, is greatly mourned by the parents
and friends.
This locality had an undesirable call from Jack Frost last Saturday night and
his activity during that period is visible upon most of the crops, especially
the corn and cucumbers.
The harvest dance was well attended by folks from near and far and a good time
is reported.
