Timerson, Emma J. (22 December 1888 - 23 December 1971)

Word has been received here concerning the death December 23, 1971, in Spokane, Wa., of Mrs. Emma J. Timerson, 83, a native of Clark County. Mrs. Timerson, a 54-year resident of the Spokane area, was born December 22, 1888, at Longwood (Clark County, Wisconsin) to Selma and Anton Bredesen.

Her marriage to Adelbert E. Timerson took place August 7, 1907, in Weston. He died in 1962. Mrs. Timerson was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church and was a past marshal of Spokane Lodge 12 of the Scandinavian Fraternity of America.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Hilda Anderson, and a brother, Edwin Bredesen, both of Eau Claire; three daughters, Mrs. Edmund (Bernice) Carlson, Mrs. Orville (Clarice) Sterk and Mrs. Robert (Elsie) St. Claire, and a son, Arnold R. Timerson, all of Spokane; and nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held in Spokane on December 28, 1971, and interment was at Riverside Memorial Park there.
