Miss Bonnie Jean Schecklman, route 1, Neillsville and Leland Jerome Dietsche, route 2, Spencer exchanged wedding vows at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Loyal, on Saturday, June 24.

The Rev. Norbert E, King officiated at the 1 p.m. ceremony and the St. Anthony’s Choir sang and Michael Tucker was the organist.

The bride given in marriage by her father wore a floor length gown with a bodice of alencon lace with long sleeves, and a sabrina neckline. The bomlezine skirt was inserted with lace and court train of lace bomlazine. A crown of pearls and crystals held her bouffant veil. She carried red roses and white carnations.

Miss Joene Schecklman, Neillsville, was maid of honor and Mrs. Marvin Dietsche, Spencer, was the bridesmatron.

The aides were seen in floor length empire sheaths of aqua chiffon, with back panels of boud fabric daises at the waistline, elbow length sleeves and scoop neckline. Their veils were held by tiaras of pearls and crystals. Each carried a long-stemmed red ose.

John Henselin, Tigerton, was the best man and Marvin Dietsche, Spencer, was the groomsman. Gary Aga and Gerry Dietsche performed the ushering duties.

The bride graduated from Loyal High School im 1865 and was employed at the Neillsville Hospital and Home. The groom attended Loyal High School and farms on Route 2, Spencer, where the couple will make their home.
