Riehle, Margaret A. (Heinz) (5 JAN 1928 - 10 FEB 2014)

Margaret A. Riehle, 86, Medford, died on Monday, Feb. 10 at Memorial Nursing and Rehab Center in Medford, where she had resided the past two years, under hospice care.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Feb. 13 at 11 a.m. at Hemer Funeral Home in Medford. Inurnment of her cremated remains will take place at Stetsonville Catholic Cemetery at a later date. Honorary pallbearers are her great-grandchildren, Trenton and Trevor Woebbeking and Kyle and Kelly Petrick.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of services.

The former Margaret Heinz was born on January 5, 1928 in Medford to the late Jacob and Emma (Brunner) Heinz. She attended Medford area schools and was a graduate of Medford High School.

On April 17, 1948 in Medford, she married George A. Riehle, who preceded her in death on May 10, 2002. They moved to the Milwaukee area, then later returned to the Gad area where they farmed for 35 years. In addition to farming, she worked at the Medford Nursing Home.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Stetsonville. She enjoyed sewing and embroidery work.

Survivors include two daughters, Vera Ann Block of Stetsonville and Dawn (Randall) Swacker of Jacksonville, FL; two sons, Val Riehle of the Town of Goodrich and Everett (Martha) Riehle of Eau Claire; a sister, Mary Blakemore of Tahlequah, OK; three granddaughters, Kristine Woebbeking, Melissa (Roger) Petrick and Tammy (David) Price; and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Lucille Kleiber and Bertha Backstrom; a brother, Bill Heinz; and a son-in-law, Warren Block.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to her family to be designated at a later date.
