Henseler, Jake (27 Sept 1906 – 16 Dec 1967) Jake Henseler, Jr. 61, Loyal, died unexpectedly of a heart attack at his home Saturday, December 16, at 12:15 p.m.

Services were held at Trinity Lutheran Church on Tuesday, December 19, at 2 p.m. by the Rev. A. M. Moldenhauer and burial was made in the Loyal cemetery.

The Myre Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Pallbearers were John Wuethrich, William Tucker, George Rowley, Reno Herdrich, Edward Greeler and Harold Dahl.

Mrs. Erwin Dux and Mrs. Verland Dux accompanied at the organ by Mrs. John A Olsen sang “What a Friend We Have in Jesus,” and “Abide With Me.”

Wuethrich Creamery employees attended in a body.

Mr. Henseler was born September 27, 1906, in Switzerland, and when an infant came with his parents to the United States and settled in southern Wisconsin. A number of years later, the family moved to the Loyal area.

June 6, 1928, he married Vera Vick at Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal.

After their marriage he continued to work at the Lakeshire Cheese Company, and for the past 28 years had been employed at the Wuethrich Creamery at Greenwood.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Orville (Ellen) Luchterhand, Granton; a son, Lyle, Latton, Utah; three sisters, Miss Katherine Henseler, Loyal; Mrs. John (Elise) Steiner, Milwaukee: and Mrs. Art (Rose) Genenz, Evanston, Illinois; his mother, Mrs. Jacob Hensler, Loyal; and five grandchildren.
