Mr. and Mrs. Theo. Braun and family were Sunday visitors at the W.F. Alperstett home.

A.E. Preller is taking census in the town of Warner.

Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Horn and family and Mrs. Ida Horn and family were Sunday dinner guests at the Gus Horn home.

Mr. and Mrs. E. Vollrath and family visited Sunday at the Jake Speich home.

Rev. and Mrs. E.G. Pfeiffer were supper guests at the John Seibold home Sunday.

The following were dinner guests at the Henry Horn home Sunday: Mr. and Mrs. O.M. Horn and son, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Poppe and family and Mr. and Mrs. E. Horn and daughter.

Mr. and Mrs. J. Speich and family called at the Henry Horn home Sunday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Ben Dallman spent Sunday at Metcalf's.

About 20 neighbors and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Will Geisler surprised them Thursday evening, Feb. 7th, the occasion being Mrs. Geisler's birthday. The evening was pleasantly spent playing cards and at midnight a delicious lunch was served. Mrs. Geisler was presented with a box of fruit and candy. In leaving, everyone wished her many happy returns of the day.

Mrs. John Frank, who had an operation for ruptured appendix, is reported on the gain.
