Mead, Gertrude (8 SEP 1870 - 18 APR 1935)

Gertrude Warner Mead, 64, 312 King Street, died this morning after an illness of six days.

Born Sept. 8, 1870 at Black River Falls, Wis., Gertrude Warner married Byron Mead on May 3, 1893 at Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), coming to Wenatchee (Wash.) with her family in April 1906. She was a member of the Women's Relief Corps and the W.C.T.U.

Surviving besides her husband are one daughter, Mrs. Morgan E. Mohler Jr. of Wenatchee; three sons, Harvey of Tacoma, Dudley of Wenatchee and Bronson of Omak; two brother, Geroge Warner of Mabton, Wash. And Henry Warner of Greenwood, Wis., and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held from the Jones and Jones Chapel Wednesday at 2 p.m., with Rev. D.R. Martin of the Church of the Nazarene officiating. Interment will be in the Wenatchee Cemetery.
