The York Center community club was to meet Wednesday noon at the Glen Lavey
home.
Mrs. Lloyd Spry was expected to return home Tuesday from a visit at the home of
her daughter and son-in-law, Mr and Mrs. Charles Anderson and family, at Wild
Rose. Mrs. Spry has been recuperating there from recent surgery.
Mrs. William Lehmann entered Memorial Hospital Sunday for a check -up. It was
expected that she would return home again, Tuesday.
Mrs. Fred Steinich of Germantown, who spent a week with her mother, Mrs. Bert
Hayden, returned home again Saturday. Evening visitors at the Hayden home
recently were Mrs. Ruby Elmhorst and Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Graves of Neillsville.
Mrs. Elda Bartz spent Sunday afternoon with Mrs. Hayden.
Timothy Wolf, who observed his fourth birthday February 22, was honored with a
cake and ice cream party Saturday evening at the home of his grandmother, Mrs.
Myrtie Davis. Tim’s mother, Mrs. William Wolf, and other members of his family
also were present for the occasion.
Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Fero visited with Mrs. Jennie Porath at Memorial Home in
Neillsville Saturday afternoon and with Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Johnson.
