Miss Myrtle Aaberg spent last week with friends at Neillsville.

Mr. and Mrs. Ed Prein and daughter of Chelsea spent Sunday here with friends.

The W.C.T.U. will meet at the home of Mrs. M.K. Aaberg, Tuesday evening, Nov. 1st. Everybody is welcome.

Mrs. Peter Lydiksen of Unity spent Wednesday until Saturday at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Pickruhn.

Mrs. Paul Rossman of Wausau was an over Sunday visitor here with relatives and friends.

Mrs. Oscar Macknick and sons returned home last week from Duluth, where they visited relatives and friends.

Mrs. H. Stilwell, Mrs. A.C. Buker and children and Miss Wetzel were Marshfield visitors Saturday.

Miss Ruth Sischo, who attends school at Neillsville, was an over Sunday visitor here with home folks.

The Stabnow families of this city attended a birthday party at the Aug. Stabnow home in the town of Beaver Saturday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. H.H. Hartson returned home last week from New Virginia, Iowa, where they spent several weeks at the home of their daughter.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cummings and son of Tomahawk spent Sunday with relatives and friends.

Mr. and Mrs. C.R. Greene spent several days of the past week at Pike Lake.

W. Brown of Marshfield is visiting at the home of his son Louis and family.

Pete Blum and Gus Sadowsky of Marshfield were visitors at the Jos. Merkel home Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. A.L. Sparkes of Humbird spent Sunday at the F.A. Oelig home.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Needham of Gorman spent Sunday at the Paul Borham home.

Hubert Smith and Mrs. Margaret Shanks of Neillsville were Greenwood callers Monday.

Ed Buker took Mr. and Mrs. W.J. Schwarze to Marshfield yesterday, where Mrs. Schwarze consulted a doctor in regard to her health.

Mrs. M.E. Beyer and son John of Unity were visitors at the Geo. Speich home Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. C.H. Zimmerman spent Sunday and Monday with relatives and friends at Wonewoc.

Mr. and Mrs. George Speich and son spent Sunday with relatives and friends at Unity.

Mrs. Gjermund Thompson of Colfax visited from Sunday until Tuesday with Rev. and Mrs. M.K. Aaberg.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Oelrich and Arthur Paige of North Freedom spent Sunday here at the Stabnow homes.

Don't forget the evening school for farmers at the Greenwood School. Farm mechanics on Tuesday evening. Dairy problems on Thursday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. George Speich and son were Neillsville callers Thursday.

There will bee a hard time dance at the Will Syth barn, Oct. 27. Music by Rugs Vagabonds.

John O'Connell and daughter Irene leave today for a visit with relatives and friends at Fox Lake.

Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Ludwig were Chippewa Falls visitors Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Borham were Marshfield visitors Thursday.

Miss Wood and Miss Harup were over Sunday visitors with relatives at Waupon.

Mr. and Mrs. A.S. Armstrong are spending the week at Pike Lake.

Mrs. M.E. Kenyon and two children went to Milwaukee Thursday for a few days visit at the home of her parents.

Mr. and Mrs. L.E. Brackett and daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Burk and daughter of Aniwa spent Sunday at the H.H. Hartson home.

It has been discovered that the Greenwood man who declared her never told his wife a lie -- was never married.

A number of friends had a surprise on Mrs. A.H. Noetzel at her home Sunday evening, the occasion being her birthday. A very enjoyable time was had by all present.

Mr. and Mrs. W.M. Goose and son Melvin and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Goose of Colby visited at the Ed Buker home Sunday.

Joe Merkel transacted business at Marshfield Monday.

Miss Lillian Speich of Eau Claire spent the weekend her with home folks.

The West Side Ladies Aid will meet Wednesday, Nov. 2nd at the home of Mrs. Wm. Kuester.

Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Zingsheim of Fairchild were Sunday visitors at the Simon Schwarze home.

Mrs. Margaret Shanks, who has been making her home with Mr. and Mrs. H.M. Root at Neillsville, has moved here and will live with Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hogue.

We will commence roller skating at the Opera House Sunday afternoon, Oct. 30th.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Gruhlke of Fairchild spent Sunday here with their daughter, Miss Hilda.

Mr. and Mrs. Otto Neverman of Neillsville called on friends here Sunday.

The party who stole my gas lantern was seen and if the lantern is not returned at once, he will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law -- John Susa.

Abe Speich of Berlin was an over Sunday visitor here at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrfs. A. Speich.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hepburn of Fairchild called on relatives and friends here Friday.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Neuenfeldt and family and John O'Connell and daughter Irene spent Sunday with relatives at Eau Claire.

There will be a card party at the Catholic Church basement Thursday evening, Nov. 3. Lunch will be served. The public is cordially invited to attend.
