Our schoolhouse is all trimmed up for Lincoln's and Washington's birthdays.

Only seven pupils attended school last Friday on account of the storm.

We wish to thank the Farmers & Merchants Bank for the lead pencils we received from them.

Elmer Meinhardt came back to school again after being quite sick for the past two weeks.

The 5th grade Geography class is studying the outlying possessions of the U.S.

The 6th and 7th grade Geography class has started the study of Asia.

The 2nd grade received new reading books Monday.

We are all busy with our reading circle work. Some of us have completed this year's work.

We are planning on drawing names for Valentine's Day some time this week.
