Kluchesky, Dr. Lawrence J. (20 July 1907 - 20 April 1972)

Masonic services for Dr. Lawrence J. Kluchesky, D.C., 64, a chiropractor in Neillsville for many years, were held Monday, April 24, at 1:30 p.m. from the Georgas Funeral Home. Neillsville Lodge No.163, F & A.M., was in charge of services for Dr. Kluchesky, who died April 20, at his home. Burial will be made in the Wautoma Cemetery.

Dr. Kluchesky, the son of dr. and Mrs. Walter Kluchesky, was born July 20, 1907, in Cudahy, and received his early education there. He moved with his family to Wautoma, where he graduated from high school. He was a graduate of the Chiropractic College of Chicago. Dr. Kluchesky, who came to Neillsville in 1938, took over his father’s practice upon the death of the elder Dr. Kluchesky.

He was a member of the Wisconsin Chiropractic association, of Neillsville Lodge No. 163 F & A. M. of which he was Master in 1963, and of Neillsville Chapter No. 66, R.A.M., of which he was High Priest in 1964-1965. He was presently serving as a trustee of the Chapter.

His marriage to the former Selma Foemmel took place June 25, 1938, in Neillsville.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include three sisters, Mrs. Martha Beyers and Mrs. Frank (Cecille) Ritter of Milwaukee and Mrs. Guy (Viola) Rupers of Waukesha; and a brother, Elmer Kluchesky of Milwaukee.

“How Great Thou Art” and “Come Ye Disconsolate” were sung by Ellis Wall accompanied by Mrs. Jess W. Scott. Pallbearers were: Alfred Kleckner, Charles Barr, Dale Seif, Robert Lulloff, Jerry Opelt and Russel Vandeberg.

Members of the Masonic Lodge attended the funeral in a body.
