The golden wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Kloth of Abbotsford was celebrated at their home Sunday, Aug. 8.

Church services were held in their honor that morning at Christ Lutheran church, Abbotsford. A dinner at the church parlors was served for the family and relatives, and an open house was held from 1:30 p.m. through the evening.

Mrs. Kloth wore a gold carnation for the occasion and Mr. Kloth a golden boutonniere. Herman Kloth and Elsie Frishman were married at Wausau Aug. 8, 1905.

Mr. Kloth was born Dec. 31, 1887, in Illinois. He had been a farmer all his life, and is still employed. Mrs. Kloth was born Oct. 14, 1897 at Medford.

The attendants at their wedding, Mrs. Irene Tische of Hamburg, and Martin Grawein of Minocqua, friends of the couple, were both present.

The Kloths are the parents of four daughters and one son, Mrs. Walter (Blondina) Bucki, Medford, Mrs. Richard (Venna) Schmidt Jr., Dorchester, Mrs. Frank (Esther) Umlauft, Stetsonville, Mrs. Ray (Jean) Steen, Medford. There are 18 grand children and five great grand children.

Relatives and friends came from Mt. Prospect, Chicago, Woodstock, Ill., and Medford, Brokaw, Milwaukee, Sheboygan, Colby, Riplinger, Abbotsford, Minocqua and Hamburg.
