Mrs. Ed Jasinski returned home Friday from a week's visit with Mr. and Mrs. Ray Scheuer in Wheeling, Ill. She was accompanied home by the Scheuer's who came to spend the Christmas holidays her and at Boyd.

Christmas merchant awards were given by the Lencz Locker and the Lencz Hardware at the locker plant. Marvin Sveum won the 1st place of $5.00 in trade plus a 3 lb. box of candy. 2nd place went to Louise Milas. She won a case of No. 2 1/2 peaches. A box of apples was awarded to John Slomka for third prize. Recipients at the Lencz Hardware were 1st place, a Rayovac portable lantern, Mrs. Ray Popowski, an 8 transistor pocket radio went to Mrs. Louis Andruskiewicz as a 2nd prize. A teddy bear toy was awarded Mrs. Pauline Dmytro for third place.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Suidak Jr. and baby and Mr. and Mrs. William Swiniarski spent Xmas Eve at the Joe Swiniarski home.

On Monday Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wittek and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Zawacki visited at the Jalmer Kangas'.

Mr. Dan Lencz and daughter, Danielle, and son Joe arrived from Colorado last Friday, returning to their home last Monday. They visited relatives and friends in Lublin, Thorp and Stanley.

Mr. and Mrs. Mike Lencz spent the Xmas weekend with the Dale Hokkanen family at Stevens Point.
