Wedding vows were exchanged by a Milwaukee couple on Saturday, November 16, at 1 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Colby. Peter Foster Davel claimed as his bride Barbara Ann Hilber. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Alex Hilber, Sr., Colby, and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Davel, Loyal.

Father John Pinion performed the ceremony with the children's choir furnishing the music.

The bride, given in marriage by her father wore a white satin empire dress, the skirt was covered with chantilly lace. The train descended from the shoulder, also made of white satin covered with chantilly lace. Both the dress and train were trimmed with sequins. The pillbox headpiece was trimmed with sequins which a 3-tiered veil of illusion was attached. She carried a bouquet of light and dark pink roses, white carnations, white satin streamers with rose buds attached.

Miss Diane Smart, Menominie, was chosen to be the mais of honor. Miss Gerrie Hilber, Colby and Mrs. Paula Maki, Milwaukee, were the other attendants.

Flower girls were Lori Hilber, Colby and Dana Davel, Loyal. The miniature bride was Tammy Hilber, Colby and the ring bearer was Paul Hilber, Colby.

The groom choose Dale Zimmerman, Wausau as his best man. Tom LaBarge, Whitewater and Dale Maki, Milwaukee were the groomsmen.

Scott Davel, Loyal and Duane Hilber, Colby ushered the guests.

A reception was held at 2 to 5 p.m. at the Colby City Hall followed by a dinner at St. Mary's School with a dance that evening at the Sportsman Park, Colby.

The bride is a 1966 graduate of Colby High School and attended LaCrosse State University and Wood County Center, Marshfield.

The groom is a 1966 graduate of Loyal High School and attended Whitewater State University and is attending Metropolitan College in Milwaukee.

The couple will reside at 2433 W. Michigan, Milwaukee.
