Miss Marlene Mohan and Paul Cline were married Saturday, May 21, in nuptial rites conducted at Christ the King Catholic church, Spencer.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Archie Mohan of Spencer and Mrs. Sophie Cline, Colby.

Attendants were Miss Mary Mohan, sister of the bride, maid of honor; Melvin Mohan, brother of the bride, best man; Miss Joan Mohan, and Mrs. Emil Untiedt, bridesmaids, and James Mohan and Emil Untiedt, groomsmen.

The church was decorated with bouquets of carnations at the altar.

For her wedding, the bride wore a white satin dress with pearl trim and carried light blue carnations.  Her veil was of lace trimmed with pearls, and she wore a pearl necklace set.

The bride’s attendants wore dresses of pale blue with blue veils and pearl accessories.  The mother of the bride was attired in a beige suit and wore a blue carnation corsage.  The mother of the groom wore a pink suit with a pink carnation corsage.

The ceremony was followed by a dinner at the church, a reception at Unity hall, and a wedding dance at Sportsmen’s Park, Colby.  About 125 guests attended.

The couple will be making their home at West Bend, where the groom is employed at Geke Mfg. Corp.  The bride has been employed at the Spencer Dairy Belt.  They plan to be at home in West Bend May 31, following a wedding trip to Florida.

Wedding guests came from Milwaukee, Chicago, West Bend, Spencer, Marshfield, Colby, Abbotsford, Dorchester, and Menomonee, Mich.
