Alexandra Alice Ciolkosz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alois L. Ciolkosz, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis., became the bride of Dennis F. Badzinski, TM 2nd Class, U.S.N., son of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Badzinski, Thorp, on Saturday, March 18th at St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church, Thorp. Rev. Father Brockman performed the 10:30 a.m. marriage ceremony and Nuptial High Mass.

Sister M. Annella played the processional. The bride's father played the mass, which was composed and arranged by him in four voices of the St. Bernard's mixed choir. Marcy Badzinski, cousin of the groom, sang a solo "Mother, At Your Feet We're Kneeling," when the newlyweds prayed at the altar of the Blessed Virgin.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an Empress Josephine gown of candlelight crepe with a flowing Cathedral train with an away from neck stand up rolled collar and wide 3/4 length sleeves with roll cuffs, made by the bride's mother. Her bouffant nylon veil fell from a double tiered lace and beaded crown. She carried a bouquet of Calla lilies with a double loop of pearls and ivy.

Miss Natalie Ciolkosz was her sister's maid of honor and bridesmaids were: Mrs. Mary Jane Ciolkosz, sister-in-law of the bride, Lois LaGasse, a friend of the bride, Mrs. Janet Ciolkosz, sister-in-law of the bride, and Cindy Sniegowski and Karen Badzinski, cousins of the bride and groom, respectively.

The maid of honor's dress, a raspberry color, and bride's, a peony pink, were of satin brocade. Their headpieces were a crown of iridescent sequins. They carried presentation bouquets of white carnations.

Richard Strodel of the USS John W. Weeks, Norfolk, Va., friend of the groom, was best man, and ushers were Lawrence F. Ciolkosz, bride's brother, Ray Hmielak, bride's cousin, Al S. Ciolkosz, bride's brother, Duane Badzinski, groom's brother, and Dennis Haas, friend of the couple. The groom and his attendants wore stroller tuxedos with white carnation boutonnieres.

Centering the bridal table was a beautiful bell shaped wedding cake and off-center was a cake in a replica of the J.W. Weeks, the ship which the groom had been on.

The bride, a graduate of Thorp High School, was employed as a receptionist at Thorp Finance Corp. The groom, also a graduate of Thorp High School, is serving with the U.S. Navy. The newlyweds will make their home in Key West, Fla., where the groom will attend school.
